TAWARAN PINJAMAN PELAJARAN KERAJAAN NEGERI  SELANGOR SESI KEDUA TAHUN 2014



Pemohon adalah dipelawa untuk memohon Pinjaman Pelajaran Negeri Selangor danPinjaman Pelajaran Tenaga Mahir "Fast Track" bagi mengikuti pengajian di Institusi Pengajian Tinggi Awam (IPTA)/ Institut Pengajian Tinggi Swasta (IPTS) tempatan yang diiktiraf oleh Kerajaan secara Sepenuh Masa bagi Sesi Kedua Tahun 2014 pada 1 Ogos 2014 (Jumaat).


SYARAT KELAYAKAN PERMOHONAN

Pemohon mestilah warganegara Malaysia dan terdiri daripada rakyat D.Y.M.M Sultan Selangor Darul Ehsan yang memenuhi kriteria-kriteria seperti berikut :

PERINGKAT PENGAJIAN
·         Pemohon telah ditawarkan tempat untuk melanjutkan pengajian secara SEPENUH MASA sahaja. (Pengajian secara jarak jauh (PJJ) / luar kampus (PLK) tidak layak memohon);


PENAJAAN
·         Pemohon yang BELUM MENERIMA SEBARANG PENAJAAN dari lain-lain penaja;

·         Pemohon TIDAK BEKERJA dan tidak mempuntai sebarang pendapatan tetap;

PENCAPAIAN AKADEMIK

·         Pemohon yang memperolehi PENCAPAIAN AKADEMIK yang baik akan diberi keutamaan;

TAHUN PENGAJIAN
·         Pemohon BUKAN PELAJAR TAHUN AKHIR PENGAJIAN atau diberi tempoh pelanjutan pengajian.


Pemohon juga mestilah memenuhi syarat-syarat kelayakan akedemik seperti berikut :

·         Memperolehi kelayakan Sijil Tahun Asas/ Pra-Ijazah/ Matrikulasi/ Diploma dengan kelulusan PNGK/ CGPA 2.50ke atas; atau

·         Memperolehi sekurang-kurangnya empat (4) GRED Cdalam mana-mana mata pelajaran di peringkat STPM; atau

·         Memperolehi sekurang-kurangnya lima (5) kelulusan (jayyid) dalam mana-mana mata pelajaran di peringkatSTAM.


Diploma
·         Memperolehi sekurang-kurangnya lima (5) kepujiandalam mana-mana matapelajaran di peringkat SPM; atau

·         Memperolehi kelayakan Sijil dengan kelulusan PNGK/ CGPA 2.50 ke atas.

Sijil (IPTA)
·         Memperolehi sekurang-kurangnya empat (4) kepujiandalam mana-mana mata pelajaran di peringkat SPM.
Sijil (bidang kemahiran & teknikal sahaja)
·         Memperolehi sekurang-kurangnya tiga (3) kepujiandalam mana-mana mata pelajaran di peringkat SPM.


TAWARAN PERINGKAT PENGAJIAN

Tawaran ini adalah terbuka bagi peringkat pengajian seperti berikut:

(i)         Pinjaman Pelajaran Negeri Selangor:

Semua bidang pengajian peringkat Ijazah Sarjana Muda / Diploma di Institusi Pengajian Tinggi Awam ( IPTA ) / Institusi Tinggi Swasta (IPTS) tempatan yang diiktiraf oleh Kerajaan serta pengajian peringkat Sijil di Politeknik/ Kolej Komuniti (tidak termasuk Matrikulasi/ Kursus Persediaan/ Tahun Asas/ A-Level/ ACCA/ Ijazah Lanjutan).


(ii)        Pinjaman Pelajaran Tenaga Mahir ‘Fast Track’ Negeri Selangor:

Bidang kemahiran dan teknikal peringkat Sijil di IPTS tempatan yang diiktiraf oleh Kerajaan bagi pengajian dalam tempoh kurang dari satu (1) tahun sahaja.

PANDUAN MENGISI BORANG PERMOHONAN

1.    Pemohon dikehendaki melayari laman web rasmi Pinjaman Pelajaranhttp://tkwbns.selangor.gov.my.

2.    Permohonan hendaklah diisi dengan lengkap mengikut panduan yang telah disediakan. Kegagalan pemohon untuk melengkapkan butir-butir yang dikehendaki boleh menjejaskan permohonan.

3.    Permohonan yang telah diisi dengan lengkap hendaklah dicetak (print) terlebih dahulu untuk mendapatkan pengesahan pihak-pihak berkaitan di ruangan yang telah disediakan.

4.    Pemohon dikehendaki menyertakan semua salinan lampiran dokumen yang diperlukan berdasarkan senarai semak (checklist) di dalam borang permohonan dengan menandakan (√) pada kotak berkaitan.

5.    Semua salinan dokumen hendaklah diakui sah oleh mana-mana Pegawai Kerajaan (Kumpulan A / Pengurusan & Profesional / Pengetua / Guru Besar sahaja) manakalaSurat Pengesahan Mastautin (jika pemohon/ibu/bapa lahir di luar negeri Selangor) &Surat Pengesahan Pendapatan (jika ibu bapa tidak bekerja/pesara/bekerja sendiri)hendaklah diperakukan oleh ADUN/Penghulu/Pengerusi JKKK/Ketua Kampung sahaja.

6.    Borang permohonan yang telah dicetak (print) beserta semua salinan dokumen yang diperlukan hendaklah dikemukakan kepada Pentadbiran ini.

7.    Borang permohonan yang gagal diisi dengan lengkap atau tidak disertakan dengan salinan dokumen yang diperlukan tidak akan dipertimbangkan.

8.    Pemohon boleh membuat semakan status permohonan melalui laman web rasmi Kerajaan Negeri Selangor ataupun laman web rasmi Pinjaman Pelajaran Kerajaan Negeri Selangor selepas sebulan dari tarikh tutup permohonan.

TAN SRI LEE LOY SENG FOUNDATION

TAN SRI LEE LOY SENG FOUNDATION
FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2014/2015



The TAN SRI LEE LOY SENG FOUNDATION is an educational foundation which among other charitable activities, award scholarships to Malaysian students irrespective of their race and religion. The scholarship is tenable for the period laid down for the course of study leading to a first degree in local institutions of higher learning and will be offered on a yearyear basis based on successful results obtained annually


VALUE OF EACH SCHOLARSHIP

The value of each scholarship shall be RM5,000.00 per academic year for diploma courses and between RM7,000.00 to RM8,000.00 per academic year for first degree courses, depending on the course taken.


APPLICANTS MUST:-

·         Be a Malaysian citizen and resident.
·         Show financial need for the scholarship support.
·         Fulfill the academic and other conditions required in taking up a place at one of the local universities or colleges.
·         Obtain good academic results for Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM).
  • Possess a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.80 and above for undergraduates who are currently studying in local colleges / universities.
·         Not be holding a scholarship / study loan from any other organization.


SELECTION CRITERIA

When considering each application, the Management Committee of the Foundation will take into account not only the applicant's financial position and academic achievements but also :-

·         Attributes which indicate that the applicant is likely to become an outstanding citizen.
  • Personal qualities and character and the extent to which the applicant has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities.
  • Achievements in non-curricular activities including sports.
·         Community involvements and activities.

1.    Applications for scholarship from the Foundation shall be opened from 21 July 2014 until 15 September 2014. All Applications for scholarship must be made on the appropriate forms obtainable from :-

3.  Please read and understand fully, the instructions on the front page of the application form before you attempt to fill the form.
4.    Short-listed applicants are required to attend a personal interview. Any applicant who has notbeen invited for an interview should be considered unsuccessful.

Tanjong Scholarship Interview (Questions)

Hi! I received email from Tanjong saying that I have been shortlisted for the Tanjong Scholarship Awards 2010 Interview. Here's some of the details.

Venue:
Level 29, Menara Maxis, Kuala Lumpur City Centre,
50088 Kuala Lumpur
Go in, and register at the counter first... before going to Level 29. Level 29 is so high up, you might feel a little discomfort when you reach there. I was told that my interview starts at 3pm (yes, some scholarship interview will need you to be here about 30 minutes earlier before interview starts to prevent you from being late)

Then, a lady came and ask me to hand over the documents they asked to bring in the email. She checked and certify the photocopies of the documents. She also asked for a photocopy of IC but this is not mentioned in the email. Luckily I have extra copy in my folder. Hence, always remember to prepare extra documents that you think is needed in scholarship application in your bag!

Interview starts here:
One of the interviewer came out of the room and invited me to go in! I saw 3 interviewers, 1 male and 2 females. In my opinion, they look a little strict.

Here are 'some' questions they blast me with (l0l).

Introduce yourself
Tell us about your co-currcular activities in Form 5 and Form 6.
Do you go to tuition?
Do you encounter any problem when you are a prefect?
Are you working currently (after STPM) and after your SPM?
How do you come here today?
Are you close with your father?
Is your mother working?
Your father is working in what company? What is the thing he transport?
Do you have a computer? How old is it? Do you upgrade it? Who buy it?
What internet connection you are using? Who pay for it?
What do you like to do during your free time?
Do you go hangout with your friends- cinema, party?
Have you ever go vacation in other states with you family?
Have you ever go out as a family? How often?
Do you have a car? What type of car?
The house you are currently staying is owned or rent?
Is the house still under loan repayment?
How old is the house and car?
Any other relative staying together (grandmother)?
Do you give money to your grandmother? How much?
Does your relatives give you award when you excel in examinations?
Why do you want to study this course?
How do you rate your current family condition?
Tell us why you deserve to get this scholarship?
What would you do if you cannot get this scholarship?
Any other scholarship you applied? Any reply?

I think the interview questions asked in Tanjong Interview is very strict and very detail!!!

Finally, done. My friend who went for this interview as well, received a letter that asked her to submit her offer letter before a date. But I did not get that. Means, I already fail in the interview.

Malaysia was shocked by the second airplane tragedy where MH17 were found crashed in Ukraine. MH17 travelled from Amsterdam, Netherland to Kuala Lumpur. MH17 has 295 passenger including the crews. Hundreds of bodies were found laying on the crash site. The MH17 was believed to be shot down by missile. Previously, MH370 which travel from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing were missing and not found until now.
